Friends of the CAC

The mission of the Friends of the CAC is to be a financial contributor to the Harford County Child Advocacy Center, enabling it to enhance and expand its resources to protect children within the community.

The Friends were established in 2004 and have supported the CAC by providing supplies for therapeutic interventions, training, and equipment. The Friends hope to increase contributions in the upcoming years to help the CAC maximize its impact on the community.

The Friends of the CAC are comprised of a dedicated group of volunteers who want to make a difference in their community by advocating for our most vulnerable citizens - our children. The Friends are committed to helping the CAC in its mission to investigate allegations of child maltreatment while providing services and resources for the abused child and his/her family. The CAC is staffed by Police, Prosecutors, Social Workers, Therapists, Family Advocates and others who work daily to provide competent and effective investigations in a child friendly atmosphere. The Friends endeavors to assist the CAC in protecting our community's children.

Please consider donating to the Child Advocacy Center. Each dollar of your contribution will assist us in keeping the doors open for the countless number of children, non-offending family members, and siblings that the CAC serves on a daily basis.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and resourceful volunteers to join the Friends of the CAC!
